This seminars will range 3-4hrs in length and give an in-depth description of our training style and how to teach/condition loose lead/leash walking.
The seminar will begin with a one hour classroom lesson on our training style, tools we use, and a detailed explanation on why we do what we do. We start with an explanation on why we use balanced training techniques which avoid bribing your dog with treats and toys. We then do a deep dive into training with a prong collar and why it’s or preferred method. Then we will begin breaking down each step of training loose lead walking, giving a detailed explanation of each action that leads to the dog comprehending the behavior.
After our classroom lesson we will begin teaching your dog loose lead walking. During this time our trainers will be teaching, observing, and helping you to perfect loose lead walking. This hands-on practical application lesson will last one to one and a half hours. During this time we encourage you to ask questions and work to perfect the behavior. The style of this lesson will resemble a group workout class where each person is working on the behavior and our trainers are working with you individually as needed.
At the conclusion of the practical application session we will spend the remainder of the seminar discussing what we as trainers saw and how to fix any issues we observed. This time will be a hands-on troubleshooting session. We will answer any questions and offer demonstrations as we answer questions.
We offer these seminars are to pass training knowledge to you which in turn will make training your current and future dogs much easier to train. Our end goal is to educate owners on how to train and maintain the training of their dogs.
